Cleaning in interior use

The surface should be cleaned with a cement remainder cleaner immediately after laying. Suitable products are available from the trade.

The slate surface can remain untreated as a basic principle. Treatment using standard household care products is sufficient for repeating care.

If easier care or colour reinforcement is required, the surface can be treated using suitable products. We do, however, recommend special care and cleaning products for kitchen and bathroom areas. All the above treatments may only be applied to completely dry surfaces. Please observe the manufacturer's application instructions.

You should never use corrosive agents, or materials containing wax or which form layers.


Cleaning in external use

Cleaning of slate in external use should only ever be carried out using clean water (and a rough brush if necessary). Treatment with a high-pressure cleaner is possible, but only if cold water is used.
