Facade slabs (large-format)

The subconstruction is the static connection between masonry and the slate facade. It is securely bonded to the masonry and accepts loading caused by wind and carries the weight of the slates.

Nowadays the subconstruction is predominantly made of aluminium, to which the slates of minimum thickness 3 cm are fixed using undercut anchors.
The evenness of the finished facade is mostly dependent on the precise alignment of the subconstruction.

We recommend that you appoint specialist companies to clean facades.
